A Little Something Sweet is a home based bakery that Elizabeth started out of her house back in 2009. At first it was just a fun hobby that she got to goof around with and make some cakes, now it is a full scale bakery that she gets to take customer's ideas and turn them into a sugar filled reality! She specializes in making everything from the simple scooped cookie, to elaborate dessert bars, celebration cakes, wedding cakes and 3D sculpted cakes. Her passion is in the details and believes that the sweet treats leaving her kitchen should taste as good as they look. After all, they are desserts and are meant to be enjoyed, not just looked at!
Elizabeth graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York with a bachelors degree in baking and pastry and hospitality management. She has worked at many different bakeries as well as hotels and fine dining restaurants. She has lived in Florida while working at Disney's Contemporary Resort as well as in North Carolina when she worked at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville. She now calls Orange County, CA home and loves the fact that she gets to go to work and play with sugar and cake all day! She has been incredibly blessed in all the opportunities she has had, and can't wait to share her passion for sweets with you!
